The 2011 Lavender Festival is a weekend packed with live entertainment, culinary delights, face painting for the kids, and wine tasting for the adults. Whether for the day or the weekend, there's plenty to do and see, so come and enjoy!
Friday, July 8th: The Pend Oreille Valley Lavender Festival presents -
Premier Gala Concert Featuring BonTaj
at Newport City Park from 6pm to 9pm Friday night. Table seating with wine, beer and tapas is
$25 per person, or a table of 4 is $90. Family seating on the lawn (bring a picnic) is $5.00 per person or $10.00 for a family of 5. Call (509)447-6451 for tickets or email us at povlavfest@wsu.edu.
Please note, no one under 21 will be allowed in the table seating area, and no pets are permitted on park grounds except service animals with tags.
Saturday, July 9th:
9am to 11am - Brad Keeler Trio - bluegrass, blues, originals, rag, historical music styles
11am to 1pm - Tedesca Quartet - classical music
1pm to 3pm - Neighbor John Kelley Band - jazz, blues
4pm to 6pm - Six Foot Swing - swing, jazz, big band
Sunday July 10th:
10am to 12pm - Laddie Ray Melvin - country, blues, folk rock
12pm to 2pm - Ray Allen, strolling musician - jazz standards, pop from the past
1pm to 3pm - Jazz'n'Time Big Band - 5 piece big band sound
