2008 Happenings


Wine Tasting:The Newport/Priest River Rotary Club will be hosting a wine tasting from noon to 4 each day. Great wines from local Spokane wineries will be featured.

Children's Events:Events are planned each day to ensure that children enjoy the Festival experience. These include:

Face painting
Easel painting
Making ribbon braided bracelets
Painting flower pots
Nautical knot creations

Demonstrations:Demonstrations will be on-going during the festival including:

Making lavender wands
Making jewelry with glass beads
Henna body art
Fly tying

Music:Area musicians will provide both vocal and instrumental music as you walk through the grounds.

Entertainment:This year will feature a daily performance at 3 p.m. featuring some of the best talent in the area performing the most enjoyable offerings. Scenes from the popular Howard's Follies will be performed among others.
