The Pend Oreille Festival Association would like to invite all new and returning vendors to partner with us this 2011 Lavender Festival. We hope to make this a wonderful year for both venders and customers. We are working hard to promote this festival in the local and extended community’s to insure a positive attendance to this year’s event.
The Lavender Festival will be held in the Newport City Park again this year. We are pleased to announce that Concept Cable will be offering wireless internet services for a reasonable rate during the Lavender Festival.
The Pend Oreille Festival Association would also like to remind all venders that PETS ARE NOT ALOWED. However service animals are always welcome; please have papers or their service vest with them.

THE EVENT
Our Mission is to promote a marketplace for entrepreneurial development in the local area and to support quality local artisans and crafts people.
VENDOR PROCESS:
- Artisan & Grower Vendor Space is limited to 60, PLEASE APPLY EARLY.
- NO COMMERCIAL vendors need apply. This is a festival for handcrafted items only.
- Applications received by March 31, 2011 will be given first consideration.
- The Selection Process will be on or about April 10, 2011. You will be notified within 1 week by email; mail, or phone ,if accepted. You check will be held pending approval.
- Artisan Vendors MUST submit photos of your product AND photos (if available) of your booth in other shows; you will be judged on both. Please submit photos with your application to the address listed below. Please tell us if this is your FIRST show.
- A MAXIMUM of 2 ARTISTS PER BOOTH ARE ALLOWED and EACH MUST have submitted a separate application and be approved. If you have requested 2) conjoined 10’ X 10’ spaces, the 2 Artists per booth will still apply.
- Food Vendors are given priority to Power. If you request power, please understand there is NO guarantee you will get power. If there is additional power available and you have requested power, then a random drawing will be held by the Committee (i.e. draw names out of hat) for the spare outlets.
- Booths must open during the scheduled time on both days and taken down Sunday AFTER the close of the Festival. Vehicles must be unloaded/loaded quickly and moved immediately from the loading area.
- Once accepted there will be NO refunds. The Festival will be held rain or shine.
- All Sales & Receipts are the responsibility of each Vendor. Each Vendor is responsible to collect and report sales and sales tax to the State of Washington. The sales tax rate is 7.6% for Newport.
